Shana Allen is a highly-seasoned banking professional launching her career in banking over 23 years ago after attending the University of Washington. Shana has held positions in lending, finance, operations, and information technology making her one of the most well-rounded information technology managers in the community banking field. She is a guest speaker at industry forums and has been a primary contributor to articles published in the Puget Sound Business Journal and the Microsoft Small Business Center in the area of information security in financial services. She is committed to professional development and holds certifications in IT Service Management under the ITIL framework and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Shana currently oversees the technology and operations teams at 1st Security Bank and is whole-heartedly committed to serving the Bank’s customers and employees.

When she’s not at the Bank, Shana can be found watching, cheering, fundraising, photographing, or driving to and from youth sporting events. Married with three children, Shana is both passionate and grateful for the work-life balance at 1st Security Bank.

Fun Fact:

Shana believes that she learned more about how to be successful in her professional life on a court or a field than she ever did in a college classroom. While she values education tremendously (GO DAWGS!), she is passionate about the lessons competitive sports teach young people. That is why you will find her fundraising, chaperoning, transporting, and participating any way possible in supporting student-athletes.
